  • Whether you are new to breathwork or a seasoned practitioner, a Bionic Breathwork session promises to be a one of a kind experience that can transform your life.  All you need to do is keep an open mind and heart.  During the session you will be laying on your mat and listening to music and breath queues from the facilitator.  The Bionic Breathwork method of conscious circular breath is backed by science with quantifiable results!  You will go through some physiological changes by offloading CO2 which results in making your blood more alkaline. In turn, your brain activity shifts and we notice less activity in the frontal cortex (home of the ego).  With the chatter of your monkey mind on mute, you will be able to access deeper layers of consciousness.  Don't be surprised if you cry, laugh, scream, and come out feeling lighter and better than ever.  You are in control of your session at all times and if things start getting too intense you can just return to breathing deeply in and out of your nose. Hold on tight - it's a wild ride!

  • Talk therapy can be extremely helpful and we do not suggest that breathwork can replace therapy. However, breathwork can take you deeper into your subconscious mind than therapy.  You may have stored trauma that you are unable to recall.  If you don't know WHAT you need to address in talk therapy then you will never be able to get to the root cause of your issue.  Breathwork helps uncover the root cause and then you can start working on that with your talk therapist.

  • Breathwork is very safe. There are currently ZERO reported cases of any injuries from breathwork.  That said, if your condition falls into any of the categories below, please consult with your doctor prior to attending a breathwork class:

    Contraindications:

    • Cardiovascular Issues

    • Epilepsy/Seizure Disorders

    • Recent Injury Surgery

    • Glaucoma

    • Uncontrolled High Blood Pressure

    • Osteoporosis

    • Bipolar Depression

    • Severe Mental Illness

    • History of Aneurysms

    • Any One Under Age 16

    • Pregnancy

    • Asthma - Please Bring Inhaler

  • Breathwork can help you release and treat root causes of depression and anxiety.  It is entirely possible that doing breathwork can reduce or eliminate the need for anti depression/anti anxiety medications.  However, please ALWAYS check with your doctor and come up with a medically supervised program to get off of your meds.

  • Breathwork is not recommended for children under 14 years old.  Bionic Breathwork (holotropic) is powerful and can uncover things that children may not have the capacity to deal with at a young age.  However, other types of breathwork that down regulate to get the body into the parasympathetic nervous system is safe for all ages.

  • Absolutely.  Having a profound and transformational experience TOGETHER can open up better understanding and compassion with your partner.

  • Yes, unresolved trauma and fear acts like a parasite that gets stuck in our body causing chronic pain, unease and disease.  Breathwork can clear these parasites and open up your energy channels alleviating chronic pain.  Breathwork moves emotion and energy so that you can function optimally.

  • If the root cause of your weight retention is emotional eating then breathwork can help you drop the weight by healing the past issues and unhealthy associations with food.
